A typical lesson

A typical Kickboxing session will vary depending on the knowledge level of the class, the needs of the students (For example if a tournament or grading is approaching) and, of course, which instructor is teaching, but may consist of the following:

    1. Light warm up and joint movement exercises/skipping/shadow sparring
    2. Stretching
    3. Fitness and conditioning exercises (sit-ups, press-ups etc.)
    4. Technique practice
    5. Padwork/bagwork - hand techniques
    6. Padwork/bagwork - leg techniques
    7. Padwork/bagwork - hand and leg techniques
    8. Partner work (technique and defence practice)
    9. Sparring (optional)
    10. Warm down and stretch

Pro Style Kickboxing will not accept liability for any injuries or accidents  resulting from the improper practice or use of any of the techniques listed in this site. All martial arts techniques, if performed incorrectly, can cause serious injury and should not be attempted without supervision from a qualified martial arts instructor. All Pro Style Kickboxing students must purchase a licence which includes adequate and proper insurance for martial arts practice prior to commencing training.
